Puerto Rico: Day 30

Hey Lovelies!

So today we went to the beach!  Super fun and it was just a lovely day.  There was lots of sun and the palm trees looked absolutely beautiful.  Honestly, the beach is one of my favorite places, it makes you feel happy and in tune with nature, I love it so very much.

I went to the beach with my cousins, sister, grandmother, and a family friend.

Palm Trees make me happy! :D

Seflies.... of course.

Swimming in the clear waters.

Sunbathing!  I got supah dupah tan.

Hope you guys are having a wonderful summer!

Puerto Rico: Day 28 & 29

Hey Lovelies!

So the next two days we didn't do anything exciting.  We've been cleaning and sleeping and spending time with family and running some errands and some more sleeping.  :D

I hope you guys don't mind.  Honestly these past couple of days have been a bit difficult with planning when we are leaving and talking about my grandfather's death and such.  But I will get over this short depressive phase.  Just a reminder that you don't always have to be super happy to be a positive person and live a positive life.  These past two days I have stopped working out {other than lots of walking} and tracking my macros as well as doing any school work.  But it has been good for me emotionally.

We did go watch the minion movie!  So cute and adorable!!!  If you are planning to go watch it, please note that it isn't any type of an action movie and it was developed for a younger audience.

I hope you're all having a wonderful summer!

Puerto Rico: Day 27

Hey Lovelies!

I'm super excited to share this post today! We went to the capital city of Puerto Rico: San Juan.

If you haven't visited Puerto Rico, this is the place to go.  There is so much to do in the city and the activity there is super amazing.  There is an immense amount of history surrounding the whole city.  I am so enthralled by the architecture {yet again} but I also have many super cute pictures of my sister, grandmother, family friend, and I.

Capital Building

My sister and I by the Atlantic Ocean!

Piraguas!
{This is our version of "shaved ice" but it tastes sooo much better!}

Some really old, scenic, historic views.

We do modeling on the side. ;D

Inside of the San Juan cathedral.

Kitty Cat chairs.

Quick snack before we leave.
Puerto Rican favorite: mallorca

If you guys have any questions about tourism in Puerto Rico and the best places to go, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments or by email.

Puerto Rico: Day 26

Hey Lovelies!

So today was nothing special.  I have no pictures, no exciting experiences to share.  Don't worry I'll be back to having exciting posts starting tomorrow.

I want to discuss goals.

Goals are a common topic on my blog because I think they're super important.  Without goals and aspirations there is no motivation.  No motivation to get up in the morning and to live.

Recently I have been working very hard on my goals outside of school and my religion.  Honestly, I put both of those things on the back burner {didn't forget, just didn't focus}.  I've been working out, sleeping more, hanging out with family, blogging, and {kinda sorta} eating healthier.  As I have been working on these things, I've noticed my life get significantly better.

Focus on your goals, on the things you love!  Life will only get happier if you focus on the positive things, the things you want to succeed in.  I am slowly trying to work on my other goals: school and religion.  But those things need their own separate time and I want to dedicate it accordingly as soon as I get home.

If you have any tips on getting your goals accomplished, leave them in the comments below.

xoxo, Ana

P.S. - I found out I'm leaving August 3rd!!! Super happy to finally go back home to my family, but also sad that I have to leave the rest of my family behind and leave my island behind.  Stay tuned for some fun new posts before I leave.

Puerto Rico: Day 25

Hello Lovelies!

So we revisited the Mall of San Juan, we finally saw the other side and other level that we had missed on our last trip. I was still so enthralled by the architecture of the entire place and unfortunately I took a lot of random pictures of the place rather than exciting things. {sorry it just really interested me}

I hope you guys don't mind pictures of walls and decor.

I will be visiting San Juan soon so expect lots of pictures of the wonderful city!

Puerto Rico: Day 24

Hey Lovelies.

Let me know how your summer is going in the comments below!

Today was quite the odd day I would say. {hehe that rhymed}  We had plans to go to the beach but my younger sister and I woke up a bit late.  So after arriving at the beach we got some ice cream but had to soon leave because of a storm.

I ended my day on a productive note, blogging, making some changes, and working out.

Flamboyan *heart eyes emoji*

My sister got the rainbow ice cream.

I got the parcha ice cream.

Puerto Rico: Day 23

Hello Lovelies!

Today we didn't do much other than some grocery shopping.  While we were at the store we made sure to get a little something to bake! :D

S'mores Cupcakes was the selection this time.  They came out looking super awesome and tasting even better.  Again, not every day is super exciting, but baking is definitely one of my favorite things to do and it was so much fun to make these little morsels of ooey-gooey-deliciousness.

Preparing the ingredients.

Making the graham cracker crusts.

Piping the marshmallow filling. :D

Piping the chocolate frosting with graham cracker topping.

Bon Appetite!

Completed Cupcake

I truly hope this post didn't make your mouth water.  Although the cupcakes are fun every time I eat one I have to do 30 burpees as my punishment. :(  Lemme know what you guys are doing to stay fit in the comments below!
